WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU IMPROVE YOUR DIET?
This is the time of year (Spring) when one is faced with the reality that it will soon be time for short sleeve shirts, shorts, swimsuits and a pledge we are going to clean up our diets. Most of us don't know what that means but usually know to increase fruits and vegetables. Nature's cleaning agents! By introducing foods of higher quality in place of lower quality ones and omitting toxic substances such as sugar, white flour, coffee, tobacco, and processed foods, amazing things begin to happen to our mind and body. When the quality of food coming into the body is higher than the tissues the body is made of, the body begins to discard the lower grade materials and tissues in preparation of making healthier tissues.
It is important to understand and interpret the symptoms and changes that begin to occur. When the use of a toxin is suddenly stopped, headaches usually occur and fatigue usually sets in. This is due to the bloodstream transporting body toxins through its many rounds through the body. Before the irritants reach their final destination, our consciousness registers pain usually headaches and body aches. The symptoms usually are gone in three days. We begin to feel stronger due to the recuperation that follows.
As the program progresses, "retracing" begins. The cellular intelligence has the opportunity to rebuild the body moving toxins that have been deposited in the tissues. At this time, people may experience skin rashes or eruptions as the poisons and harmful drugs and substances are moved through the skin. Consulting a doctor not knowledgeable in nutrition the condition might be diagnose as an allergy and suggest the diet be discontinued. Too bad, the break out was beginning to save the body from the possibility of hepatitis, kidney disorders, blood disease, heart disease, arthritis, nerve degeneration or even cancer. Be encouraged when you have these symptoms. They won't last long. Just think of what they may have been doing on the inside! Do not try to stop the symptoms with the use of drugs. This is part of the healing process.
Typical healing crisis symptoms include headaches in the beginning, occasional diarrhea, tiredness, nervousness, irritability, chills, negativity, sometimes nausea and vomiting. Hang in there, you be feeling great when you get through this. Soon you begin to crave good, high quality food.
